Centreamèrica: Terra en litigi

In 2023, 196 environmental activists were documented as being murdered worldwide, with 85% of them in Latin America. Challenging this trend, there are non-profit law firms fighting to defend environmental activists, generate case law, and achieve structural transformations. This is the case of the Human Rights Legal Firm in Guatemala and the Network of Women Lawyers Defending Human Rights in Honduras.
